Edinburgh’s Ultimate Family Christmas Experience is back for it’s 7th year!
Step into Santa’s Living Room to meet the big man himself and snap a family photo. Each child also receives a Golden Christmas Coin to exchange for a gift or a teddy at the Make-a-Teddy Factory.
Back by popular demand is cookie decorating with Mrs Claus, and don’t forget to check your Naughty or Nice status before taking a journey through the Magic Forest with Frosty the Snowman and The Nutcracker. Write to Santa in the North Pole Post Room, attend Reindeer Flying School and new for 2024 is the hilarious Elf School, but watch out for the mischievous Mr Grinch! End your visit with festive food and drinks, and fun at Taylor’s of Edinburgh Christmas Funfair.
Running on selected dates throughout December, with entry times at 15-minute intervals. Please ensure that you check in for your experience 15-minutes before your booked time slot as anyone arriving late cannot be guaranteed entry. Please allow a minimum of 1 hour 45 minutes to enjoy the full experience and enjoy lots more until our the closing of our gates. Ticket prices vary upon date selected.

Step into Santa’s Living Room and meet the big man himself. Every child will receive a special Golden Christmas Coin from Santa, which can be exchanged at the Toy Workshop for a gift of their choice or a cuddly friend from our Make-a-Teddy Factory.
naughty or nice?
Begin your adventure at Passport Control, where our scanner will reveal whether you’ve been Naughty or Nice. Then, get ready to walk through the enchanted wardrobe and embark on your magical journey to the North Pole.
snowball fights
Explore the enchanting, snow-covered Magic Forest, where you’ll have the chance to team up with Frosty the Snowman and his lively friend, The Nutcracker. Together, you can dive into a series of festive games and exhilarating snowball fights, creating unforgettable holiday memories.
write your letter
Why not take a moment to write a letter or draw a colorful picture alongside Postman Pete and Buddy the Elf in the enchanting North Pole Post Room? Once you’ve crafted your special message, you can send it directly to Santa using our post box, adding a touch of magic to your holiday wishes.

Amidst the festive cheer, The Grinch roams with a mischievous grin causing light-hearted trouble on unsuspecting guests. With every playful trick, he adds a touch of whimsical mischief to the holiday spirit, making his presence a memorable part of the celebrations.

Make sure you don’t miss out on your class at Reindeer Flying School, where you’ll have the exciting opportunity to help Rupert as he trains Crackers to achieve graduation and join Santa’s Sleigh Team.

At Elf School, young visitors are invited to embrace their inner elf and learn the secrets of being one of Santa’s elves. Under the guidance of cheerful elf instructors, kids practice essential elf skills while enjoying fun, festive activities and join the North Pole’s most festive team.

Join Mrs Claus in her cozy kitchen for a festive gingerbread man decorating session. Surrounded by colourful icings and sweets, you’ll create holiday masterpieces under her cheerful guidance.
Toy Workshop
Finish your journey at the Toy Workshop where you can exchange your Golden Coin for your very own special quality toy or a cuddly friend.
Make-a-Teddy Factory! Each bear is easy and fun to make, just add some cuddly fluff and a heart sealed with a kiss. We also have cute costumes for you dress them up in. Then choose the perfect name for your new friend on their birth certificate to take home and share Christmas cuddles with as you wait for Santa. Each bear is suitable for ages 3 and upwards (RRP £20, additional cost for costumes).

Add to your memories by with a special family photo with Santa taken by his Elf helper, then purchase your glossy print before you leave.
Enjoy lots of festive food and drink from our full licensed Events Bar. Or stay cosy around our fire pit when you toast some tasty giant marshmallows.

What time is the event?
Sessions from 10:00 am – 4:45 pm (gates open: 9:30 am closing: 7:00 pm). No sessions between 12:00 pm – 01:00 pm. 23rd and 24rd December (Christmas Eve) gates close at 5:00 pm.
What is the Black Friday code and how long is it running for?
Select the date, time and number of visitors then enter the code BLACKFRIDAY20 when prompted at the payment checkout. The code is only available for a limited number of tickets on each date. Offer will finish at midnight on Sunday 1st December 2024.
If I forget to add the discount code can I get money back?
No, as per our T&C’s we do not offer any refunds.
What is involved in the event as part of the ticket price?
Are Teddy costumes included?
No, but these can be bought separately for £10 each or £12 for our Elf costumes.
Can I buy tickets when I arrive?
All tickets should be pre-booked before arrival. No tickets will be available to purchase on the day of the event.
When should I arrive?
We ask that visitors arrive 15 minutes before the booked time slot as we cannot guarantee entry for late arrivals. However, you are welcome to arrive earlier if you wish to visit any of the other event areas (excludes 10:00 am entry).
Can I visit the other parts of the event before Santa
Yes, you can enter to the events area before your time slot, however you must ensure you are at our North Pole Passport Control for your allotted time to visit Santa (excludes 10:00 am entry).
How long does the event take?
Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes but extra time can be spent in the funfair, or food court area.
Can I just come to the funfair without a Christmas ticket?
No, access is only available to event ticket holders.
How much is the funfair?
Tokens can be purchased using both card or cash payment ranging from 5 tokens at £7.50 or 25 tokens for £25. Some height restrictions may apply.
Will the event be cancelled if bad weather?
This is an all-weather event. Booked tickets cannot be changed due to adverse weather on the day.
In the event of hazardous weather conditions, visitors will be contacted directly by email to transfer tickets.
Can I change my date or time?
Tickets can be moved without charge if they are within the same price bracket. To move to another date an extra charge may be incurred, and a payment link will be emailed to you to pay before arrival.
If I can’t attend, can I give the tickets to someone else?
Yes, please email adventurepark@conifox.co.uk to change visitor details. Please ensure the new ticket holder is within the relevant age bracket.
Can I add a child to my booking?
Yes, please email your booking ID and name to adventurepark@conifox.co.uk with the number of additional tickets required.
Can I get a refund?
No refunds or exchanges will be issued for bookings should you no longer be able to attend as per our terms and conditions.
Can my teenager come with their friends?
No, all children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Do you offer any Blue Light, NHS carers or disability discounts?
We do not offer any discounts for our Conifox events. No carers tickets are available as this experience is open to children of all needs and all children require an adult to attend.
Are there any discounts for corporate pass holders?
No, there are no discounts available.
Does the ticket include the Activity Centre or Adventure Park?
No, but these can be booked online separately at www.conifox.co.uk.
Is there any discount if I want to go to the Activity Centre or Adventure Park?
No, there is no discounted add-on for these facilities.
Are you offering any ASN days?
We do not have any ASN days, however, our early morning sessions may be quieter and more suitable for children with additional needs. Image cards and descriptions are available upon request. Please contact us for further assistance.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Although the event is accessible, please be aware that some surfaces are uneven and could cause difficulties. Please make sure if you require help you come accompanied.
Is there parking available
Yes, we have free parking on-site.
Is there food and drink available?
Yes, we have an Events Bar and food outlets in our Food Court.
Is there anywhere indoors to eat?
This is an outdoor event and benches are available in the Food Court area. Our Activity Centre Café is available for food and drink indoors from 9:30 am – 4:15 pm.
Are there toilets and baby changing available?
Yes, we have facilities on-site.
Are dogs allowed?
For the safety and consideration of all our customers, only guidance dogs are allowed in the event area and must show relevant documentation. Dogs must be registered with the ADI or IGDF schedule or provide us with an AD UK logbook.
Do babies get a present too?
Yes, all child ticket holders receive a gift.
Can I keep the Santa Coin?
No, all coins must be handed to our elves at the Toy Workshop or Teddy Factory to redeem a gift.
Are you selling Christmas Trees and Wreaths?
No, our Christmas Shop is no longer open.
Is there a Christmas Market?
No, but at times there will be additional food vendors on-site.
Can Conifox Gift Cards be used for this event?
Yes, please use the code online at our checkout or at our Event Bar.
What should I wear?
This is both an indoor and outdoor event so please dress for the Scottish weather and wear appropriate footwear.
Does your Santa Claus have a real beard?
Santa has been on holiday this year and has had a shave so please don’t be disappointed, however, his replacement beard is very realistic and fluffy.
Will the Grinch be there this year?
Yes, watch out for that naughty Mr Grinch as he will be sneaking around the event.
Are there real reindeers?
No, just fun mascots in our exciting show.
Why do I have to pay for a baby ticket?
Baby tickets range between £5 – £10 depending upon the date selected and each ticket includes all the activities, photo opportunities and a gift, including a Make-a-Teddy which has a retail price of £20.
